How can I purchase your products?

You can purchase our products two ways:

1) At the Farm - You can visit the farm any time.  All of our products are available here.  It is best to call ahead and make sure what you want will be available.

2) Home Delivery - We have delivery groups around the Metroplex.

Something I want is not showing up in the store.  Have you stopped carrying it?

Not neccessarily.  When something is out of stock, it does not always show up in the web store.  Check back next week and see if it is back.  With the meat, it sells quickly (particularly steaks) and we only have so many animals available for processing.  So, it is just a matter of time before we have more available.  I will typically send out an announcement when more meat is added to the store.

Are your meat products Gluten Free?

The processor who makes our meat products (sausages, hotdogs etc.) does not use any soy, wheat or milk proteins as binders.  As I understand it, that means they are gluten free.

Can I start a new Delivery Group?

If you are interested in hosting a new Delivery Group, I would love to talk to you about your location.  Just  Contact me and we will discuss it.  Site hosts do not sort products, and they do not handle payments.  They only provide a place for us to drop products for the group (including coolers and ice to keep them cold) and allow group members to pick up their orders.
You do not have to put together your own members, we post the new site to the sign-up page and allow people to join.

Something was missing from my order, what do I do?

Email Ramy@TexasDailyHarvest.com and let me know.  I will take care of the problem.  We always want to know if there are any problems with orders or products.

Why am I being charged a Delivery Fee?

We charge $1 per order.  This charge is listed as a Delivery Fee, but it is actually a Transaction Fee.  The computer system does not allow us to label it as such.  It is to help with the costs of the online ordering system and the credit card charges we pay.

Can I choose what comes in my CSA share?

No, unfortunately we can not customize shares.  The labor of putting the shares together is one of the largest expenses we have, so we have to streamline the process as much as possible.  That means all shares have to be made the same.  We do sometimes offer individual produce items that can be ordered "a la carte" if we have more of something than we need to fill the shares.

One way of dealing with things you don't really want is to get to know the others in your delivery group.  Maybe someone would trade items.  Or find a friend or neighbor who likes the things you don't.  I do understand, there are things we don't like at our house, too.  We have to grow a large variety of things, though.

I also have a page on the site with recipes, see the link at the bottom of the page, so maybe you can find a way to use the things with which you are unfamiliar.

I can not pick up my share, what do I do?

It is best if you can find someone else to pick it up for you.  If not, please let me know and we will donate it to a local food pantry.  The CSA membership is a 10 week commitment.  Our business relies on knowing we have our produce sold.
